Engineering

Interlink Electronics’ global engineering team integrates industrial design, mechanical engineering, firmware and electrical engineering and manufacturing engineering disciplines to ensure the highest quality designs manufactured cost-effectively under strict timelines.

Interlink Electronics solves engineering and manufacturing challenges by integrating the latest in 2-D and 3-D rendering, visual modeling and simulation technologies. We start by collaborating with our customers to enhance the quality and optimize the cost-savings of every design. We use CAD technology to expedite the design evaluation process. And we’re able to adapt and convert many different types of basic media for use in our CAD database, where they can be reused for the creation of visual models.

We frequently use foam models to provide a quick three-dimensional view of newly designed components. We also utilize Stereolithography (SLA) modeling (the most cost-effective combination of speed, accuracy and detail) to create finished or unfinished prototypes.  Functional and non-functional appearance models (urethane castings created from SLA masters) accurately show every detail of the product. Finally, we offer sophisticated mold-flow analysis to provide design solutions that lower tooling costs, shorten time-to-market and ensure that manufactured parts will meet design specifications.

With strategic locations in California, Hong Kong and China, we have the tools, resources and expertise to manage all the design, engineering, prototyping, project management, and finite element analysis requirements of your next project.
